Brow Lift
The height and arch of the brow shape expression more than almost any other detail in the upper face. Selectively weakening the depressor muscles lifts the brow slightly — without surgery.

Indications
What this treatment is suited for
- A slightly lowered outer brow
- A tired or heavy-looking gaze
- A wish for a more balanced brow shape
- Asymmetric brow height
Mechanism
How the treatment works
Brow position results from the interplay of elevator and depressor muscles. When the depressor fibres around the outer eye are selectively relaxed, the elevating forehead muscle gains relative pull — the brow rises by a few millimetres. The effect is deliberately restrained and works with the existing anatomy rather than against it.
Procedure
The treatment procedure
Brow movement is first assessed at rest and in motion, including any existing asymmetry. A small number of very finely dosed injections are then placed at defined points. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes.
Aftercare
After the treatment
Remain upright for a few hours, avoid massaging the treated area, no sports or sauna on the day of treatment.
Risks and side effects
Mild redness, swelling, or small bruises at the injection sites are possible. Rarely, temporary brow asymmetry or a heavy sensation in the eyelid can occur.
Contraindications
Not suitable for certain neuromuscular disorders, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in the presence of infections in the treatment area, or with pronounced upper-lid laxity, which requires separate assessment.
Questions about the treatment
Frequently asked questions
How much does the brow actually lift?
The effect is typically in the range of a few millimetres. This is a subtle refinement of expression, not a substitute for a surgical lift.
Can a brow lift be combined with other treatments?
Yes. It is often planned alongside treatment of crow's feet or the glabellar line, as all three areas are muscularly connected. Dosing is then calibrated as one overall concept.
