Which composition suits you

AQUAGOLD® Pure: Hyaluronic acid and vitamins. For deep hydration and the softening of fine lines.
AQUAGOLD® PRP/PRF: Additionally the body’s own plasma. It stimulates collagen and elastin formation and thereby works intensively regenerating.
AQUAGOLD® Ultimate: Additionally botulinum placed in the upper layers of the skin. The interplay of all three components creates a glow, smooths crêpey lines, and refines pores while expression is preserved.

Mechanism

How the treatment works

The device carries twenty hollow, gold-plated microchannels roughly 0.6 millimetres long and 0.13 millimetres wide — each thinner than a hair. Rolled across the skin, they release the loaded solution evenly into the upper dermis. Because depth is fixed by the length of the channels, the quantity distributes evenly across the whole area, which would be hard to achieve without the applicator. The substances delivered therefore act evenly across the entire area rather than only in places.

Procedure

The treatment procedure

After cleansing, the solution tailored to you is loaded into the sterile single-use vial and rolled across the treatment area. No numbing cream is needed. The procedure takes approximately 30 minutes. For the best results, several sessions four weeks apart are recommended.

Aftercare

After the treatment

No make-up for a few hours, sun protection in the following days. Mild redness usually settles within a few hours, which is why the treatment also suits the days before an occasion.

Risks and side effects

Mild redness and occasional pinpoint bleeding across the treated area are possible and short-lived. Rarely, swelling lasting beyond a day or reactions to the delivered ingredients occur.

Contraindications

Not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in the presence of infection or inflammatory skin conditions in the treatment area, or with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients used. Which solution is appropriate for you is determined by a physician before treatment.

How does this differ from medical microneedling?

Medical microneedling creates deliberate micro-injuries so the skin responds by forming its own collagen — the stimulus is the treatment. AQUAGOLD® instead delivers a solution; what matters is what reaches the skin. Downtime is therefore considerably shorter — but AQUAGOLD® works on the freshness of the skin, not on its structure.

How long does the result last?

Usually three to six weeks. This is the treatment for a fresher complexion, not for a different skin structure — anyone looking for change that lasts months is better served by medical microneedling or a collagen stimulator such as Sculptra®. Both can be combined with AQUAGOLD®.

What does the solution contain?

That is determined individually for each skin and discussed with you in the consultation — depending on the findings, skin type, and treatment goal. There is no standard mixture.
