Mechanism

How the treatment works

High concentration without cross-linking allows the product to spread through the tissue after injection. It binds moisture while acting as a stimulus on fibroblasts, which then form collagen and elastin. The method therefore both hydrates and improves structure.

The treatment procedure

The product is placed at five anatomically defined points per side of the face, deliberately located away from larger vessels. Two sessions four weeks apart are standard. A session takes approximately 30 minutes.

Aftercare

After the treatment

The bumps at the injection points usually settle within a few hours. No make-up for twelve hours, no sports, sauna, or tanning for 24 hours.

Risks and side effects

Visible bumps at the five injection points are normal immediately after treatment and short-lived. Redness and small bruises are possible. Rarely, swelling lasting several days or inflammation occurs.

Contraindications

Not suitable during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in the presence of infection or inflammatory skin conditions in the treatment area, or with certain autoimmune conditions.
